How do you use super wash yarn? I’m always tempted by the beautiful colors, so I have a lot. But it grows so much after washing. Maybe I need to machine wash and dry?

Cream colored hat with black and brown speckled. Knitted in garter stitch
Only finished project for January - a Rikke hat. I reduced the needle size, but it still is too big. And then because it’s super wash it will relax more after washing. The next one I will have to also reduce the number of stitches I cast on.
When work runs late and you don’t get your dog fed on time (grateful it wasn’t yarn as I have it all sitting out as I sort it).
It is usually a bit easier than tension on knitting - and rigid heddle is an easy way to get into weaving without as many technical things to think about. Highly recommend if interested, but not with linen 🤣
Weaving Gist Duet on my rigid heddle. Bad idea. Can’t tension tightly enough for a good shed, and it is taking so long. Trying to despise if I should keep going or cut off and start something else.
