Ink and marker art of 8 bugs native to the city of Philadelphia region. Each one matches a bar of color found on the Philly Pride flag. ❤️Red is Red Harp Ground Beetle (Amara rubrica). 🧡Orange is Cantura jucunda (someone give this fella a common name quick! I'll say Orange Soda Leafhopper, because its like an orange cream soda and the white speckles are very bubbly.) 💛Yellow is Goldenrod Soldier Beetle (Chauliognathus pensylvanicus). 💚Green is Fragile Forktail (Ischnura posita). 💙Blue is Physocephala tibialis. (Another in need of a common name!.) 💜Purple is Goldcap Moss-Eater (Epimartyria auricrinella). 🤎Brown is Bronzed Cutworm Moth (Nephelodes minians). 🖤Black is American Carrion Beetle (Necrophila americana). Across the bands of color is text that says: "City of Brotherly Bugs".

Done! This side doodle kept me sane the last few evenings. And I have a new favorite moth because of it! 💜🦋
