Exactly what I said to my wife when I woke her up with the news this morning
Successfully lobbied the HOA to remove the requirement for grass in the front yard and replaced everything with native drought tolerant plants. Water bill has never been lower.
Added bonus, 17 year old son used a spring from a pen to fix the kitchen faucet so we didn’t have to replace it.
