I actually would be cool with the Seahawks. I like Darnold, and Pete Carroll is no longer there.

It will be even more open if we hire the right head coach I agree.
Remember when Roenicke and the 2014 brewers blew an 8 game playoff lead in September?
And then they torpedoed the 2015 season bringing him back and the vibes just CARRIED over from the prior year?
Feels just like this. Team expects to lose once games get tight.
I hate Matt LaFleur more than I hate the Bears and more than I hate Craig Counsell. I will absolutely cheer for this team's downfall if that absolute loser is still employed in Green Bay next year.
If you told me I'd have to accept this for the Brewers to win game 5, I'd take it.
If him and Gutekunst are back, the organization isn’t serious about winning. Both are losers
He'll do the same to LSU when the Bama job opens.
And the fanbase will run him out of town after a couple 9-3 seasons where they finish ranked #14 and miss the playoffs. Both parties will come to regret this alliance in due time.
I think Bielema was frustrated with academic standards too and that he couldn't get everyone he wanted. Still turned out to be a decision he'd probably take back.
I thought about going out this morning to run a few errands before the snow really picked up, but I decided it's not a risk worth taking considering the incredibly low trust I have in the drivers here. So I'm home mixing my coffee with eggnog instead.
Yeah if you make the choice to take a different job in the middle of a playoff run, you can't have it both ways. He should have to live with the consequences of making that choice.
It doesn't even take snow. We'll do this on a sunny Tuesday morning in July.
That's a good point. I'd imagine more teams are going to try to do that next season. With the expanded playoffs, it makes more sense too.
I want to say Acuna or some Braves player hit one up there last year.
I realized several years ago it was something that was way better as a kid, and I only still watched for nostalgic reasons, but it doesn't do anything at all for me anymore.
He was such a New York homer but still more fun than this garbage tonight.
And no, I don't think the intent of this Mass was to countersignal Trump. I don't think Pope Leo gives Trump nearly as much thought as the hive mind on this site.
I can see why it's addicting, and I typically only have 1 or 2 cigarettes or cigars a month, usually in a social setting when I'm offered one. Good for you on breaking free from it!
"Go to Mass to own Trump" is not anything I ever expected to hear from the resist libs, but whatever gets them to go🤣. Hope you stick around whenever the Pope or a priest expresses a view you don't like though.
As it should be. This team blows, and Murphy can't mange a bullpen.
I really won't be bothered if they win it all. I don't harbor any bitterness when the Bucks lost to a very clearly superior team.
I just hope the Brewers discourse is sufficiently toxic on here.
Elon's hellsite being down yet again has brought me here.
I haven't been following the story for a while, but I thought they already had a deal for a new stadium downtown. I guess they're debating between that or moving to Kansas.
To be fair aren't they kind of starting to hold the city hostage over a new stadium?
Oh no, who else will show us the same 6 teams over and over again and pretend the rest of the league doesn't exist?
They expanded the playoffs for ESPN money. If ESPN doesn't want the extra games now, can we just get rid of them and bring back meaningful September baseball for the best teams?
(Actual answer: the rounds created for ESPN will end up being streamed by Apple or Netflix or, I don't know, Pornhub.)
@madmaxmke.bsky.social has it right.
"I'd rather have a Saudi billionaire who made his fortune off slave labor who actually spends on players than this"
NFL regular season is a great product. Sundays in the fall are fun. But the playoffs have done very little for me lately if I don't have a rooting interest. I'd much rather get mad at a Brewers 3-0 loss on a Sunday afternoon than be indifferent about an Eagles-Rams playoff game.
People crying about no football today really need to get lives and stop being slaves to the mediocre NFL product. I've been thinking about March Madness and Spring Training since halftime of the Packers game in Philly.
