To end this whole thing off, I have been taking a break from Discord and such to mentally revitalize and focus on my own stuff, I have games I wanna solo create, I have adulting I gotta do this year, and I think the best way to get all that done is to break off for now then return with a fresh mind
I don't think it does me any good to keep dwelling on other people's problems, not only because it can get me to this point, but because now people expect me to be Mr. Fixit
So I'm sorry to those that read this and think I'm a selfish person, but read everything carefully and try to understand
Again, I don't mind being an ear to problems, but don't expect me to be of much help to those problems anymore
Bluntly speaking, it is both a waste of my time and people's time for me to step in to solve problems, sorry if that sounds selfish
But I have stuff I wanna do, people I wanna hang out with
I get that people trust me, and that they think I can be a source of wisdom and whatnot, but I am already at the point where I have already given as much wisdom as I could
I just don't get how people can still get into stuff and expect me to be there to be some kinda deus ex machina
Whenever situations happen on an individual level, people should not have to go to some middle-man like me to get things fixed
Why can't people just TALK with the person they have issues with on a serious level instead of roping me into stuff like that?
I have no involvement from the start, why me?
I'm sorry if any of these words come off as petty or just plain rude in some fashion, whatever the case I apologize
but people need to remember that I am a person that has to deal with his own problems and projects
It seems that folks don't understand the meaning of GROW UP, to act like an adult
I don't mind helping out with people's problems, but now it's gotten to the point where I've done it so much that I'm starting to get tired of it
So from this point onward, I can listen to people's problems, but if I get asked to be an active figure, I will reject, no questions asked
Restrictions are being placed on things that used to be easy necessities, and I can already tell the world is not happy

People seem to think that just because I'm in a high position, that I'm some kind of babysitter to them

I currently do not have a job and no one locally really wants to hire me, I am reaching the age where stuff needs to get renewed and I have to be seen by doctors again

Just saying, the remake is just bad in general.
It's done by the same company that did the mobile sequels. The original is just far superior (and it's free).
I do agree on some aspects, it can be cryptic for first-timers, its scare factor has worn off, and it doesn't really have much of a story.

Mannescape is a tribute to noprops' works, games like Hero's Escape Game 1 & 2 and Ao Oni were heavy inspirations, mostly self-developed by me.
Oni of the Opera -ENCORE- is JHG's first major project where the whole team got together. It was nearly abandoned before I showed up.
We currently have a list of games that we're working on
All games that I developed like "Mannescape" and "Oni of the Opera -ENCORE-" are a part of the Jailhouse Games lineup (details later)
