So that’s that, right? We don’t have to put up with endless drivel about how expensive it is to save the planet abd ourselves ever again? Cool.

This cartoon of his lives rent free in my brain.
Well now, would you look at that? A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.
Beautiful image. My wife wants to use it as inspiration for her next art project.
I used to do this as a health visitor in the early 2000's. It did increase uptake with some families. You have to have 2 people & a full anaphylaxis kit, so resource intensive.
In the 6th largest economy, 103000 people died in poverty in 2024.
120,000 died in fuel poverty, couldn't afford adequate heating.
Ethnic minorities, pensioners, single working age adults more likely to die in poverty.
Poverty and death sentence is a political choice as govts appease the rich.
We had a fitter come to fit one. He would have had to rip out a chunk of our brand new kitchen to get it in. So... not at the moment.
Many thanks to the amazing @michaelspicer.bsky.social for bringing my @bmj.com paper to life! The actual paper is here:

Excellent book - I had it last year.

What does Daphne think about it? I'm sure she has opinions.
Exactly this, well said.
I'm going to have to listen to this now!
Thanks! Exactly what we are looking for.
But without a review and overhaul of our fiscal framework, the chancellor will remain trapped in this doom-loop at every budget to come. That's why we're arguing for a new approach👇🏽

Photo of Salto Angel (Angel Falls), official name: Kerepakupai merú - by Rich Childs, via Flickr/Wikipedia.
This is Angel Falls in Venezuela, with its 807-metre sheer plunge - the tallest waterfall on our planet.
Except - it isn't. There's one that's bigger. MUCH bigger. And when I learned about it this week, my mind was fully blown.
OK. Buckle up! (Especially if you don't have a head for heights.)

This is Europe's largest onshore wind farm. It can generate enough energy to power 1 million homes.
We have so many solutions to this crisis. Implement them. #ActOnClimate

Cartoon: People in cars think g “if these people would just take the bus, I could be home by now.”
Here’s some common sense for you. If you want or need to drive in cities, your problem isn’t people choosing walking, biking & public transit because of smart, safe infrastructure. It’s all those people being forced to drive big cars instead, stuck in traffic in front of you. #TheTRUTHaboutTraffic
Many thanks - followed
I can think of 100 places I’d rather be than in London during 34°C heat , but it was for an important cause . This coming Monday will see my petition on fossil fuel ads debated in Parliament .
