I’m sure it was. The drawing is so lovely but the fact that it was of her banjo makes it even more so
I remember first coming the footage of her in the rail yard (art and freight trains were two of my favourite things) and then trying to find out as much as I could about her, it was all just so sad.
I love her work so much but didn’t realise you knew her. Any film that I’ve seen of her has been equally beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
