I donβt know Iβm starting to think Doug Ford doesnβt have Torontoβs best interests at heart
Why donβt you think sheβll run again?
If Iβm not reading in a park sweating on the grass soon Iβm gonna go wild
At least we have that
Tabatha no!
Post snowmelt Toronto is my least favourite Toronto. City looks like the tide went out and left a bunch of garbage.
Tbh it's kind of the tech reviewer version of that episode of Seinfeld where he tries to see how far he can go in a car with the needle on empty.
I think it's probably a reflection of a) people who watch tech YouTubers are likely not the target audience for the Neo in the first place and b) it's more fun than watching someone type in a document or send an email.
I donβt know if I trust someone who has icicles in their beard in their profile photo tbh
It hits 10 degrees in Toronto and I saw a guy walking around in a t-shirt and two women eating ice cream cones
Letβs hope weβve learned from past design fails ποΈ
Loved getting to work on this exhibit about the future of Toronto parks with Park People. Itβs up for two months at the Urbanspace Gallery & the feedback will help inform their parks platform for the upcoming municipal election.
I accept my fate
I will die on this hill Shawn so help me god
Uh can someone check Dougβs fiscal conservative setting? And while youβre in there maybe dial up the empathy knob a smidge.
Thank you! βΊοΈ
Made a little comic about the joys of riding the train, even for just a little while.
More Mexico City shadows
Glad to see this move ahead. Curious why the baseball field in the centre is not included in the overall plan?
Remind me again how conservative govts save us money?

Ok Toronto I come back Wednesday after a month away and there better be no snow still there from when I left
Mexico City skinny mid-rise is the best. All of these are in the Narvarte area along Avenida Dr JosΓ© MarΓa VΓ©rtiz.
Three drawings from Lagunilla in Mexico City
San Miguel is so charming and I think has some of the coolest apartment architecture in cdmx.
Oh you know just casually watching Scott Pilgrim in the Mexico City subway
The rapid bus system in cdmx is great. Dedicated lanes, subway-like stations, and itβs only 6 pesos per ride. I loaded up my metro card with 50 pesos & it cost me like $4 cdn π€―
Makes me think in Toronto how many times I see spaces like this that are mostly barrenβno seating, all paved, maybe a tree. I know itβs a different climate here but really itβs not an excuse. Toronto can do better with these mini-spaces. Theyβre what make a city feel comfy.
I love how cdmx doesnβt waste any public space. Along Ave Insurgentes which cuts diagonally thru Roma Sur city are these little triangle plazas with seating & mini playgrounds, like this one outside of my friendβs house. I swear thereβs someoneβadult or kidβon this swing at all times.
