(I don’t think that will happen this year though. They’ve already played Europe in three consecutive summers, which is pretty much unprecedented).
When the rumours emerged at the weekend, I thought this would be a mini-tour of 5 to 10 shows. I was not expecting 20! Gives me a great deal of hope that the band will return to Europe again.
Just the fact that it is happening is enough. Respect to Bruce for making the statement on home soil, and respect to the whole band for doing until the wheels come off.
As ever, I’m getting irrationally excited about a Bruce Springsteen tour taking place in a different continent, that there is zero chance of me being able to attend, and that is more than likely to be a direct repeat of the shows I saw in the UK and France last summer.
I can only hope that Reform giving high profile roles to the most thoroughly discredited former Tories will be their downfall, but I’m probably being naive.

I should also say, I fully expect the UK government to ban under 16s from social media, and to ban them from using VPNs.
They'll do it, to get great headlines, but in the process ruin the lives of some marginalised teens and make most kids less safe.

And, frankly, I do not appreciate being told by security to ‘bring less stuff’ when I have no bag, and all I have is a wallet, keys, a book and some headphones, which is hardly unreasonable for someone coming solo and travelling across London.

Now a package has been delivered to the wrong address and just dumped outside the front door for all to see. No idea if it will still be at that property when I go and ask for it.
Getting things delivered is just becoming ridiculous now. Earlier this week, a book was left ‘behind the bins’ (actually not even behind but next to them in this case) in the pouring rain with only cardboard packaging.
