#histscalemodels crew…how often, if ever, have you given up on a build?I’m really struggling with this one. Fiddly, bad fitment and poor instructions make it feel like a battle. Not sure I can justify it this when hobby time is so precious and limited.
Would you cut your losses or power through?

Ah sorry guys but am definitely not gonna meet the #heaviesGB deadline. Nowhere near. Total lack of energy at the moment. But it will get done. Look forward to checking out all the completed projects. #histscalemodels

After a tough few weeks I've finally found time to do some modelling. Slowly coming together - despite an absolute struggle with some terrible instructions lol. Hopefully get it finished in time. #histscalemodels

I went to see The Long Walk last night. I loved the book and this film did it real justice. Some tweaks to the story but I can see why. It's brutal, hard to watch - as it should be. Some brave creative decisions. Acting by everyone was fantastic. #film #thelongwalk

A beautiful plane that. And they were used very effectively in ww2. They saved many lives by patrolling and sinking uboats in the Atlantic.

Not to be a snob but you can really tell the difference in the simple things when going from Tamiya to a Revell model. Tamiya instructions were clear, the sprues were much cleaner and had a better numbering system. Revell not bad just there are differences. In this model at least #histscalemodels

Well, it's almost done. Needs a tiny bit here and there and a matte varnish but here it is. I think this is my best model so far. Learnt a lot. Improved a lot. Screwed up a lot. Will take what I learnt and use it on #heaviesGB #histscalemodels

Just me having a problem with the #histscalemodels feed?

Thanks. Honestly I found it relatively easy to work with simply as you can literally erase any mistakes by just using some white spirits. And it blends so easily. Good tip I saw online is put the dab of oil paint on cardboard first and leave. It soaks up lots of the oil making it easier to use

First time working with oil paint. I'm in love! Today was a bit of weathering, panel lining and the famous Skyraider exhaust marks. Edging closer to being able to start #heaviesGB #histscalemodels
