Yes, it's only monitoring. I did not know there was a home level system to consider. What does that do?

As a side, did you consider OpenEnergyMonitor?
I agree, but I'm open to genuine critique of ETS along the lines of would other measures be more effective. Like stricter deadline on coal phaseout, ICE vehicles. No new gas boilers, lower tax on power vs gas. And the price of EUAs is very volatile, subject to speculation and politics.
Nice. It's hard to enjoy when you realise Europe is at a big disadvantage, and has to master wind, grid connections, efficiency just to stay somewhat close. Is that your conclusion too?
European energy costs are never going to be as low as most other regions. We will have to master grid connections, wind, nuclear just to get close. And add building efficiency on top. Some countries will have an easy time with >90% solar.
It's not all about privacy. I favour sovereignty and want great functionality so I can replace otherwise great products from google. More and more Europeans simply want European software.
Europe has IDs and its quite ok i can assure you. Why spend political capital defending the right to vote without an ID?
De Wever is a great speaker. Macron is impressive for real proposals and details and he's on point here youtu.be/CA3NFk705Jo?...
Why is it inconceivable for Germany to just buy French planes? Would it be so bad? The French have done pretty well at this, let them cook! It's not like Lockheed Martin was asked to partner with Airbus, Germany just buys the F35s www.economist.com/europe/2026/...
Is your proposal to accelerate renewable deployment or an alternative country for gas?
If European pensions become equity based, this will funnel our large savings into productive industry. How can we unlock much greater equity investment?
And Proton Drive, you get email vpn and password manager too
20th time's the charm
Imagine if Europeans invested their pillar 1,2,3 pensions in EU equities instead of low-risk low-return schemes. But national rules steer us away. We should be nearly all equity until 60 y.o. This is good for EU business
I'd much prefer that they use private companies and help them to scale. I hope the Commission can do this, and based on merit, not a national fairness strategy
I've noticed the branding of European solutions is poor. Can't tell whether this visio is visio.numerique.gouv.fr or www.visio-experts.com. And a search mainly brings back references to Microsoft Visio
There is going to be a whole lot of that happening in Europe. You can try Proton for email and drive. Mistral LeChat for AI. Vivaldi for browser. Super Notes for google keep equivalent.
The concept of a EuroStack will grow. Companies should brand as "Made in Europe" rather than "Made in Germany", (for example) if they want to leverage on this
That's from 2023. And nothing has happened since.
Why is Galway co co not willing to chase up the Comer brothers?
I'm attempting to migrate to European software and landed on products from Switzerland, Norway and UK. All non-EU countries, funnily enough. Ok, and Mistral from France π
It should be included in the bundles of Unlimited and Duo. The basic version of Standard Notes is so bare that I can't trust that it justifies the high additional cost. And it's not clear that you can share notes with other people (I'm trying to replace all my Google apps and Keep is great)
EU-Inc.
Making business truly borderless.
Maintaining the status quo, refusing to make changes needed for European independence is no longer just a disappointing reality. It is active subversion. That goes for the Mercosur vote. But also any policy we know makes us mediocre but we refuse to change. We need to call these examples out.
The enablers are the most dangerous and we need to expose them. Incredibly, Trump is dumb enough to do it himself
Do you know who isn't equipped with the tools for the current situation
28th state regulation, a much higher share of equity investment in state and company pension funds, and a made-in-EU requirement for software used by EU institutions, please
