Another day, Another archive. Took AmTrak down to Richmond, Virginia to see their Merci Train file and private papers of David FE Bruce (who made some excellent wine recommendations in his correspondenceβ¦) also: Founding Fathers magnet. My heart is full.
My first time at the Library of Congress & I already canβt wait to come back. Met friendliest archivists, had delicious lunch, and finding incredible photographs of Merci Train. Even used the magnifying glass and found some real hidden treasures in them. @librarycobg also: love a fancy corridorβ¦
