When searching for the correct injection point for my Femoral triangle blocks- (formerly incorrectly called Adductor canal) - I look for the apex of the femoral triangle.
How? Well I look for the “Prayer Sign” - everyone else calls it a fish/Tuna/whale! 😂

Sadly my 5 joint day didn’t happen as planned. Electrics were down at 7:30am. Returned at 3:30pm and have done two instead. No rescue femoral blocks needed. Will try again next week.

@dr-amit-pawa.bsky.social do you do a lignocaine femoral nerve block as well as a fem triangle block (ACB) for those GA cases (along with all the other fun blocks!). Have 5 joints tomorrow. Going to try the “smooth wake up ligno fem nerve block”.
