I find New Yorkers to be the kindest, most helpful people in the US. Don’t get me wrong, they’re no bullshit, straightforward and, in the best way, blunt. But I experience more caring looks than anywhere else. “Oh you need help, I’ll help you.” They don’t hide behind bullshit southern hospitality.

So these companies are now going to spend their precious bottom line dollars hiring security firms and scrubbing evidence of floor,m plans, etc., instead of taking care of the customers that they purport to support.
This is how my brain works.
Do the anxious, challenging stuff first thing. Usually because of my anxiety around certain "to do" items, I procrastinate. And then by the EOD, I'm out of energy & can't regulate my anxiety around them. I challenge myself to do them first thing in the AM. #facethefalsefear
