I learned a lil while ago that there’s a filler ep of Tao going to Korin’s tower, but atm it the pacing is a bit all over the place.
Theres even a scene at Roshis where Bulma is making a Goku radar

It’s funny that a vision from Bulma teaching pilates was what Goku needed to catch the water.
I was surprised that Korin throwing the Dragon Ball to the ground didn’t become a filler mission, like in the Wii game
Now it’s time for the rematch!
Ep61: It’s so weird seeing how disciplined Tao is, knowing how cowardly he becomes later on
I was surprised at how quick reached Korin’s tower. This isn’t like a Snake Way situation
Also theres so much wacky stuff at Korin’s, who knows how much of it could’ve been useful later

I think they re-used Goku’s kamehameha from the tournament (mainly saying cus I recognise the motion and saw the ground tiles)

There was this moment when Goku watches Upa and his dad bond, and it may have foreshadowed the dad’s death but I think Goku misses his grandpa 👀
Ep58: Idk why I thought Upa’s dad was just above Mr Satan’s level, but this dude is an absolute unit! Bro killed a bunch of RR soldiers in front of his kid but Upa still ends up smiling lmao

Ep57: I’m so glad that the 90s Dr. Slump series expanded the crossover because I would’ve wanted more Arale & Goku
The side plot with the police and the aliens felt a bit disconnected from Dragon Ball, and I think the 90s series did it better with the aliens working with Blue
