I should say with the caveat that you reach out to see if they know where you might find it secondhand or at a library. Don't go hounding authors for deals 😳. eBooks are also a great resource!

If it's a lesser known author, like me, reach out on their socials as well! I'm always willing to work with people on book pricing. Things are expensive, but books are so important! If my story is being read, even if I'm not directly profiting off of it, I'm happy.

That always cracked me up because "We stole Twitter!" Great job stealing a website that was slowly but surely fading out of relevance. My mom called Twitter irrelevant all the way back in 2014. It's like "stealing" MySpace...
