At last, a politician with balls. Sadiq Kahn bravely putting himself in the line of far right fire by telling truth on the eve of Trump's visit. "The President's use of the military in cities & targeting of minorities is straight out of the autocratβs playbookβ.

We donβt celebrate his death, but we wonβt hide the truth about his life.
Ease yourself in gently and go easy on yourself.
I had to be back in work a week after my mum died as no-one else knew how to do payroll.
As the parent on a 12 year old that struggles with their self-esteem, this terrifies me
A roundabout with a George Cross painted on it. Somebody has written "FUCK OFF NAZIS" across it. Apparently photographed in Leeds
From the outside it seems that Americans are severely underreacting. What's it going to take yanks? Seriously what's it going to take?
I can reassure you that 'President of Europe' is not even bottom on the list of things that I call you π€£π€£π€£
My brain tried to escape out of my ears just watching the clips.
Unless @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social fixes this not amount of βaccessβ will enable people to see GPs
8am- 6.30pm open access without more GPs employed or Partners will not mean more people seeing GPs
It used to be 1/1800 in 2010
If you want to see a GP then it needs to be funded or you wonβt
Thank God that the President doesn't have any infractions
A big shout out to @atrupar.com who is taking one for the team by reporting on the Tango Twat's latest sycophantic cabinet meeting. I'm losing brain cells watching the clips, who knows what damage he will suffer exposing himself to the full experience π¬
Can't stop following @atrupar.com today just to see when the level of insanity reaches critical mass and the universe folds in on itself.
If Labour aren't prepared to criticise Farage, allow me:
Reform are cunts.
Fantastic effort by the Lionesses. Difficult to believe that 5 or 6 years ago this wouldn't have even been shown on the TV.
Brilliant achievement in a sport that has been underfunded and undersupported.

There is a further problem with Urgent Treatment Centres, Hubs & top down approach to community care
They are hugely more expensive than actual GP appts
GPs / District Nurses / HVs have had funding cut whilst alternatives have been funded by NHSE & 2β care in the community
People live in community
The majority of their care is in the community
1.4m consult GP practices a day
Half the population / month
Yet the neighbourhood plans of barely mention GPs
An oversight or a deliberate policy?
20% Β£ cuts since 2016
Fund this it will be cheaper & save Β£
Already over 6000 Neighbourhood Health Centres in England
GP Practices have lost 20% real terms funding since 2016, if they hadnβt they would be better able to provide the care patients need
Still 31m appts/month
Fund GP practices properly & theyβll do the rest with less funding & quicker
It is cost effective. It is overloaded and primary care has vastly increased the appointments given, yet all that is said of GPs in these discussions is βyou canβt get an appointmentβ. It far more complex than that, and 10yr plan is not hitting the mark. Where are buildings coming from, the staff?
@newsagents.bsky.social When the NHS is discussed publicly, itβs mainly a discussion on hospitals. GP surgeries do 70-80% of all health care. Health care given by a GP is far more complex and not just the odd minor thing you want to check. Things you used to only see a specialist for.
The 10-Year Health Plan is desperately needed, but we must also remember the damage Brexit has caused to the NHS.
βBrexitβs impact on the NHS caused 1,485 additional deaths per year as a result of EU nurses leaving the UK following the referendum.β
A sea of wildflowers in the foreground - daisies, bright red poppies, blue cornflowers, and yellow marigolds. A dark green hedge is running along the background, just behind two large trees. In the distance there are farmers fields, yellow and green, and a hazy blue sky with trees on the skyline.
Durham has some beautiful wildflower verges π₯°

Still one of my favourite clips of all time #primarycare πππ

And yet somehow it is all the illegal immigrants taking our money...
How much has this all cost?
Presume they are flying over Halton (Bucks) and whoever is doing the map work at Sky has googled Halton and the results have come back with the more famous Cheshire town. Doesn't bode well for fact checking if they can't get basic geography right...
Map of the planned fly past from Sky News showing them flying to Halton (Cheshire) with Buckinghamshire covered on the map (presumably because they are flying over Halton, Bucks).
@news.sky.com I hate to disappoint you, but Cheshire isn't Buckinghamshire...
Get out and be the American you kmow you are.
Who better to comment on bringing up children than someone who doesn't know how many he has?
