I’m sorry, the toy is called β€œGabbo?” Did it call the kid a little SOB?

The presenters impartial attitude towards christianity paired with it's calm, respectful, and unsensational discussion of paganism and black magic is just so comforting and Wholesome.

At first it felt like a Monty Pyrhon sketch, but the more I watch, the more appreciative I am of the tone of the piece.

The Satanic Panic showed the terrifying truth of how easy it is to manipulate a person's deepest thoughts, emotions, and memories. I love that we've created a machine that can streamline and automate that process and that we have rebuilt our entire economy around putting it everywhere.

Chic! Autistic woman’s autumn/winter runny nose seamlessly replaced by spring/summer runny nose An autistic woman has been labelled a β€œtrendsetter” after demonstrating how to seamlessly switch from a cold-weather runny nose to a hot-weather runny nose, it has been reported. Mary Walker, 43,…

Mary Walker, 43, believes that perpetually-drippy noses are a timeless classic, best paired with a nasty crumpled-up tissue all year round. She says they can be dressed up or down, or even allowed to run unchecked as an eye-catching facial accessory.

It's very gross to warp the messages of iconic authors for your mass death campaigns but it's a feature of capitalism. Just look at the billionaire ai techbro obsession with LoTR, a story with an anti-industrial message. They love to divorce these stories from their meaning, leaving only aesthetic.

this is the hardest modern internet thing to cope with ime. dA was my "home" for ~20 years pre-AI. i always felt more comfortable on art sites but they're just not a town square for socializing or fandom for the last decade. i like things in a gallery, not automatically reposted

the infinite scroll is possibly one of the worst inventions of all time

I will forever resent the rapid, aggressive sloppification of DeviantArt. I already felt like the sense of community had been waning somewhat by the time of the Wix buyout, but the malicious forcing of Eclipse upon the userbase and pandering to AI was a nightmare. I don't regret leaving in 2020.

I feel homeless without a stable Gallery site community, but even 15 years ago, I felt like I was being peer pressured into changing site every 18 months - 2 years orso.

I honestly hope someday art gallery sites make a comeback, and I hope that we all become less addicted to ''content'' and go back to the times seeing a new piece by an artist you love is an event, a good surprise, and not just like ''oh this one's cool *scrolls*"

04.03.2026 17:56 πŸ‘ 667 πŸ” 95 πŸ’¬ 12 πŸ“Œ 0

This is not a critique on people, it is just a think piece about how things changed online, and it hurts me seeing artists younger than I apologising for going a week (!!!!) without posting new pieces. Your art should not be content for scrolling-by strangers, this sucks so bad.

04.03.2026 17:56 πŸ‘ 613 πŸ” 71 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 1

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Top and bottom page margin diary comics from 2025. The one where everyone is blue was from right before the protests really popped off. The one in color was right after.

Tessfowlerart.bigcartel.com is where to find this collection. We have till the 8th to get rent in so EVERY sale helps. Thank you

ugh, youtube playlists have been so buggy lately. I'd be listening to some music and it's not even the last song on the list and it'd start playing a video that's not even on the playlist, breaking the mood completely.
