I can't even say how much I believe in this! You, YES, YOU! You can be a leader! You don't have to have a fancy title, you don't have to have a lot of money, you don't have to be the best - but if you help people, teach, inspire, and lead, then you can be someone's role model. We need role models!

reminder for people disillusioned by losing heroes to AI slop or supporting trump admin or awful studio decisions or the myriad of things going on that the best way to respond to that is to try to become the role model you thought they were new people still need someone to be how you thought of them

I think to the layman the $100K looks like a lot, but it really isn't. Just like when they hear about a TV script being sold for $30K+ and think "all that money for just 1 episode" not knowing anything about how long that can take, how much work goes into that, & the fees for agents, & then taxes.

I admit to being utterly astonished that a sitting United States Senator is publicly stating this about a briefing he received from the Administration.

It's looking increasingly like these guys thought that if they could wreak more death and destruction than the other side then they would be respected as strong powerful men and they would "win" and that would make them big important heroes. Very possibly they had no rationale deeper than that.
