Jeepers, I can't believe how lucky we were the other day! Driving down a quiet dirt county road, we found this gorgeous bobcat guarding a road-killed deer. I have never seen a bobcat in the wild so this was very special! 🙀😸

Oh my gosh, isn't that the truth!!! I don't go up there in the summer. Winter seems to scare the faint of heart away. Also I typically come from the other direction. Red Mountain really freaks people out 😂
I grew up in Colorado and this is true in some places, but not all. This little cabin is for backcountry skiers only. And backcountry skiing is free.
