Something incredibly embarrassing about taking this back to your desk, past all the other people also writing their novels, like announcing yours is special when actually you’re only 8000 words in.

Sometimes a different seat in the library is the right place to write, while pretending not to be annoyed that your normal seat is taken.

Sometimes in the Botanics with matcha is the right place to write.

Sometimes during a storm is the right time to write.

I have a PhD in English Literature but stationery or stationary stops me everytime.

Sometimes bed is the right place to write.
