Frustrating how passive most Americans are about their country being the world's biggest threat. War to them is purely a moral issue, they know no US city will suffer retaliation from Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, etc...
And if it ever happens, it will be 9/11 again - they'll likely go 200% fascist
and on and on
The road goes ever on and on
The appeal of being a truly indie game dev these days is that nobody has the power to shut my projects down but me, there can't be any surprise cancellations. I can't really run out of funding because I have no budget for my project except for the time I choose to give to it. #GameDev #IndieDev
Me when book authors introduce too many characters too quickly.
Good job!π
What a beautiful day for a walk!
There is something magical about springs. Cold water bubbling to the surface from somewhere deep within the mountain. What lies beyond what the eyes can see?
Just how much of this stuff is still around here. WW1 βmemorabiliaβ at every step.
A lovely snowdrop⦠and a surprise!
Blast from the past! At Aircon24 I had the pleasure of talking about Field and Foley recording for Video Games with Arron Amo-Travers. Lots of practical tips for your recording journey here!

Oh look what I found in a creek today! (WW1, french - It has been safely handed over to bomb specialists.)

"I mean, practically every department makes noise and upsets the sound department. It's important for you to negotiate with them. And if you're always saying it's a problem, they'll just get fed up with you."

Well, you were 7β¦ π Lucky you!
Nice, I need to get into the game and listen more :D
What about you? What are you fav albums/tracks?
Being the romantic sort, I got hooked on the Heavy Horses album as of lately. Song-wise, One Brown Mouse, Heavy Horses. Then, the Zealot album is great, as is their older stuff, like Aqualung (Cheap day, wondring aloud, wind-up), Thick as a Brick, etc. Still got a long way to go, but getting there.
I was an occasional Jethro Tull listener, but now I must say I am a top fan. Fuck, they're good. In fact, going to one of their shows in March.
Building a Dolby ATMOS Studio from scratch with Franck Reisner!

The new Affinity by Canva is such a disappointment. Crashes, unstable (even after the recent update), and it seems to unbalance my whole system somehow, so I need to restart. Back to the "old-school" Affinity 2 for me.
Good choice! π
I think a bit of both.
Consider me intrigued.
