Here is my first blog post in about a year with a small reflection on what I have taken away from my sabbatical. It was a rich and chaotic time, and I feel these lessons in my bones.

This book is BEAUTIFUL. As my friend Amy said, it’s like reading a hug.
As my sabbatical year comes to a close, I am beginning my reflections on the path forward. My initial piece of wisdom to all of you: take breaks. Short ones, long ones. Take breaks with purpose and breathe. Allow small things to inspire you. In those moments, you will find your way back to peace.
Hello! I’ve been on a social media break, which has been good for my spirit and emotional well-being. Hope you are well!
I’m so freaking proud of you! You are a beautiful writer with an authentic soul to your words. More people deserve to hear them. ❤️🎉👏🏽
May her memory always be a blessing, John. What a beautiful eulogy. Thank you for sharing with us.
I need the same do e. I’ve honestly been stepping back from all online things. Hopefully, you get cool recommendations here that I can also follow. :)
I would like to purchase a copy of this print or pay you so I can print a copy for my Magpie shrine, please.
It took a lot of self-control not to follow this car when the light turned green so we could be best friends.
It’s gaming day, if our DM can make it. :) *hugs&smooches*
So many new people on here! I’m excited to be opening an app that is full of content written by my pocket friends instead of ads and videos. I really hope it lasts!
Of course. ❤️😭
We definitely are!
*hugs* Here with you. Sending you so much love.
I’m definitely also reconnecting with friends. Focusing on my direct sphere of influence and engaging in the activities that bring me joy. With, like, people. :)
Ooh! Website! Looking forward to content from you. :)
Finding the space for peace is not easy in a chaotic world. What are you doing to create peaceful moments for yourself?
Currently looking at the sparkling frost outside my office window and sipping hot coffee. It’s a peaceful Friday, and I am grateful. Sending you all the happiness and harmony I can muster to help you through your day.
Sometimes, the bear needs a win so the rest of you can regroup. *hug*
Hi, BlueSky! Thought I should post something. I hope your new year is turning out to be full of promise!
That’s hard. Uprooting your family is difficult enough when you want to go.
That looks amazing!
Same, but I wholeheartedly disagree quite often….
Commas are a hotly debated literary device, mostly because the rules for their use keep changing. It’s honestly maddening.
