I saw a clip of @barackobama.bsky.social eulogizing Jackson, and thought of this, from 2015, written by Zoe Mulford @joancbaezofficial.bsky.social youtu.be/m9iYBifsOPI
The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.
15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.
WATCH β @senpeterwelch walks through a no-bid $143,000,000 contract that went to @KristiNoemβs spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlinβs husbandβs company that had just been formed.
She should be impeached for this outrageous scandal alone.
Yet itβs barely a blip in this corrupt regime.
Elizabeth Holmes C @ElizabethHolmes X.com My federal prison camp let inmates stay up past count for the BET Music Awards. Last night they wouldn't let us watch the State of the Union. The Bureau of Prisons would rather we be entertained than educated. The system is broken. 9:10 AM β’ 2/25/26 β’ 873K Views

This week's UnSpun podcast gets into what happens when newsrooms cut staff and journalists work on their own.
Don Lemon got arrested.
The way we're defining "journalist" is changing, and it's not all for the good.

Are we paying attention yet??
Zohran genuinely loves the people of his city and wants the best for them. Itβs astonishing how much weβve all been starved of that by our leaders.
Still I Rise POEM BY MAYA ANGELOU SHARE You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I'll rise. Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? βCause I walk like I've got oil wells Pumping in my living room. Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise. Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops, Weakened by my soulful cries? Does my haughtiness offend you? Don't you take it awful hard βCause I laugh like I've got gold mines Digginβ in my own backyard. You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, Iβll rise. Does my sexiness upset you? Does it come as a surprise That I dance like I've got diamonds At the meeting of my thighs? Out of the huts of historyβs shame I rise Up from a past thatβs rooted in pain I rise I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide, Welling and swelling I bear in the tide. Leaving behind nights of terror and fear I rise Into a daybreak thatβs wondrously clear I rise Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise I rise I rise. Copyright Credit: Maya Angelou, "Still I Rise" from And Still I Rise: A Book of Poems. Copyright Β© 1978 by Maya Angelou. 1. It was not an accident.
2. It was not a staffer.
3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isnβt sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

I did the same. In addition, it's not a bad thing to get students away from a keyboard--and to practice/learn how to make handwriting legible to others.
what if instead of trying to reach trump voters we got the 1/3 of america who don't vote to the polls

True! But this candidate is so much stronger and ppl are angrier--still, a long shot for sure
@democrats.org Please don't leave SC off the funding map. The time is now to lift up a strong Dem running to replace lame Lindsey G
I donβt want to hear anything from an elected official unless itβs a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.
contrarian.substack.com/p/so-you-wan... Candidates vying for presidential nomination will face a Herculean task but also an enviable opportunity. To be ready, they need to start accumulating a brain trust to help them think through not only an election but a path to a renaissance of democracy.
No one can be watching this Davos speech and reach any conclusion but that the President of the United States is mentally disturbed and that something is deeply wrong with him. This is both embarrassing and extremely dangerous.
The choice is impeachment and removal or calamity for the United States. I don't see how anybody watching Trump's speech in Davos can draw any other conclusion. He's a senile madman.
Polls shows Andrews at 48% and Gram at 52%

The upcountry of SC is solid red (also where all the measles cases are) but not so the rest of the state, so gerrymandering isn't an issue in this race. Pls support this US Senate candidate running against tired, ineffective Ldsy G.
Congress can stop ICE. Congress can block the use of force in Greenland. In other words, in this crisis, Congress can act to support civil liberties at home and free nations abroad. To fail to act would be to be complicit in a dreadful outcome.

again?
Thank you CNN for pointing out that everyone opposed to this regime has normal, pro-social links to the organizations that make up a liveable society where you can do normal shit.
Next article you can talk about how the vice president, by contrast, is in nazi groupchats with minors
