Yesterday, the war parties teamed up to shut the door on Iranians trying to flee a war they endorse and support.

We know that there are Labor MPs who oppose this war and Australia's involvement. It's time they spoke up.

Silence is complicity.

Murphy: I have great sympathy for our soldiers and our military leaders they are being given directions by a senile old man who is losing his mind. And so it's no surprise that this war is going horribly

Trump, 79, Admits He Was Falling Asleep During War Planning Not so much commander-in-chief but commander-in-sleep.

Seems about right considering how the war effort is going. (Also, including his age in that headline got a laugh out of me). www.thedailybeast.com/trump-79-adm...

Middle East war creating ‘largest supply disruption in the history of oil markets’ Vast release of emergency crude reserves fails to quell mounting fears about supply crunch, rattling markets

International obligations required Australia to have oil reserves of 90 days - we have less than 1/2 that.

Albanese once promised our own fleet of tankers. We rely on Asian-Pacific tankers to bring in oil.

One Rule for Some. Another for the Rest of Us. One teenager. Fifteen police officers. Six words on a singlet. And the architects of Robodebt still walking free. How did we get here - and what do we do about it?

One Rule for Some. Another for the Rest of Us.
This week an eighteen-year-old was arrested by fifteen police officers in Brisbane for wearing a singlet bearing six words.

The architects of Robodebt have faced no charges. Not one. Not ever.

“Breathtaking nonsense” is just one of Rick Morton’s thoughts on the NACC’s long-awaited robodebt report, which dismissed corruption allegations against Scott Morrison as well as three others, and in doing so flatly rejected the royal commission’s findings.

One of the first things we need to do is develop a truly independent defence policy. Oz was kidding itself to think the Brits would help us in WWII (they didn't) and is kidding itself the US would now.

We definitely need to ditch AUKUS, and put more work into building allies closer to us.
