This year, my only resolution was to try and start reading again after a 15+ years hiatus. With January wrapped, I'm currently at *thirteen* books munched through.
Here's #1-4
I legit fear for the overall game literacy of new junior designers in the coming years for various reasons and a big part of that is just, a lack of idiosyncratic games in many diets that aren't, like, tied to insidious monetization loops.
Let people play games that are weird in honest ways, dude.
Happy new episode day!

I'm sure no one gives a shit about my show @o3cgames.bsky.social, but a ~90 min podcast is the result of probably 6 hours of editing work minimum across @jonathandunn2046.bsky.social and myself. I cannot abide unnecessary uhs and duhs and serviceless pauses. It's an audio first show every time.
They had a good run
