You can get grow bulbs that fit into standard sockets, I use a.co/d/g0UBoyv to overwinter my potted plants in the garage. The light is also white instead of purple, so it looks natural. The only catch is that all grow bulbs need to be close to the plants (~12"), so it can't go in a ceiling socket
