Wow! What a week! As much as I love that PAWS can be found in 13 languages all over the world, there's something so special about topping a bestsellers list here at home! 😊 My thanks to all the Canadian booksellers, librarians, parents and kids who made last week's launch such a huge success! ❤️🍁

Yeah, Canada was unquestionably the better team 5 on 5, but they squandered some golden opportunities, Hellebuyk was phenomenal, and once you send it to 3 on 3 the outcome is a coin flip.

I'm surprised by how little that result bothered me. Once I saw that it was going to 3 on 3, I kinda checked out. Ending any consequential game with 3 on 3 is bonkers. Not quite as bad as a shootout, but close.

Aw, cheers, man! That's so nice to hear. As much as I've enjoyed my pivot to making comics for kids, it's very removed from what I did before, and I sometimes worry that my friends and peers think I just retired or something. 😅
