So uh… does Dungeon Crawler Carl get better? Because three chapters in, this feels like the answer to the question “what if Ready Player One had more angry divorced guy energy” and I cannot emphasize enough how much that was not a question I needed answered.

I spent three hours on a simulator trying to make my circuit work. Precedence, right? Funny. Another site and a truth table generator gave no fucks if I NOR'ed before I NANDED.

Parenthesis, negation, AND/NAND, XOR/OR, NOR/XNOR, right? RIGHT?

(Note: XNOR is my favorite. I jt just looks cool.)

Okay, someone out there: is order precedence for logical operator a thing or not with digital logic circuits? Half of what I read said not really, very loosey-goosey shit and half said yes. My professor ignored my question, which is driving me nuts.

What. The. Fuck?

OMG. Though I mean, he said the quiet part out loud there. I'm getting the impression most of my teachers are perfectly willing to teach but don't seem to have many feelings about the students learning: take it or leave it.

And my diamond shoes are way too small, I know. I'm studying what I love and learning so much, but I just wish someone--anyone--was as excited as I am to find out more.

...and boy, if I hear one fucking more person saying "you are really doing too much for this paper/project/homework..."

I've had about three professors in this major that seemed to feel that way too. All the enthusiastic and excited teachers teach world dance, technical writing, intro to networking (which yes I'm also getting a degree in but beside the point), history, art..they all really want to expand your mind.

It's just...even thinking I would hate this class because no one told me set theory is amazing, I still would have loved it because I'm finally learning about the hobby I've been in love with for years and there's so much, and I want to know everything and more. And in the last four years...

I would seriously be failing this class if my brain--for absoutely no reason at all--hadn't really super got into set theory and has fallen in love with propositional logic and oh my GOD I FOUND A CIRCUIT SIMULATOR IT IS SO COOL. And yes, I am very aware no one falls in love with set theory. Yet.

I miss that class so much, when I am--in actual fact--in a class that against my own inclinations I am enjoying (circuits! Logical gates!) and that is fucking despite teacher and other students. Don't get me wrong, he's not bad or mean, he's friendly and knows his work, but...

God, that they would show a tenth of the enthusiasm of my World Dances teacher. Do you know how much I cared about ballet? It's nice, I like it, but a semester of studying the history of dance....God. And he. Was. Amazing. He used to be a lead dancer and loved his work and it showed.

Halfway through the semester, so going to vent a little.

My class Discord is a desert in which no one talks (and I try!), but what's getting to me is per capita, the non-CS teachers are a fuckload more enthusiastic about teaching than those who, at least in theory, liked computers a lot!

Question: would it be a good idea right now to subscribe to Claude? I meant to switch to it from ChatGPT at the end of last semester but got distracted.

What sheets, you desperately want to know? I'm glad you asked!
1. Laws
2. Rules of Inference
3. Terms and symbols
4. Glossary

I still have about six to add, but taking a break to stare into space because we haven't gotten Exam I back yet but Exam 2 starts Wednesday. I am not despairing at all.

Today, I:
1.) Finished two (2) papers for System Analysis.
2.) Did a read through of this weeks Logic assignment.
3.) Created two sets of VBA macros (Excel and Word) with subs for each logic operator and symbol for easy insertion.
4.) Got my Exam II Spreadsheet started with many sheets.

Same for work, but luckily I do have a woek laptop. Im looking at Framework for my next buy and probably will go with Linux OS this time around. What's going to suck is translating all my vba subs, macros, and extensions, but Open Office shouldn't give me problems.

Solus, however, is literally the most beautiful. And also ultra customizable. But any of these four, and adding Fedora, are entry level and perfect for regular use.

Linux Mint if you're nee to Ubuntu. Its one of three most beautiful OS's anywhere and easiest to fall into. I always have it on one of my computers. Desktop is better than Windows and far more customizable with awesome widgets.

No reason, would anyone be interested in a presentation on Linux Mint, EndeavourOS, Kubuntu, or Solus?

ICE under Trump 2.0 built an unprecedented media operation - deploying videographers to raids, pumping out edgy social posts, swiping pop music for hype videos - and the main metric for evaluating its impact shows that Americans now hate ICE more than ever

Hi folks, these days, when someone is having a health issue, it's referred to as an "opportunity," so let's go with that – I'm having one of those. It's also called a type of cancer that's “treatable” not "curable." I apologize if that's a shock – it was to
me too.
The good news is, I'm not gonna go into any more detail. I'm posting this, because professionally, a few things will have to change - appearances and cons and work in general need to take back seat to treatment.
My plan is to get as well as I possibly can over the summer so that I can tour with my new movie Ernie & Emma this fall.
There are several cons this year summer that I have to cancel. Big regrets on my part. Treatment needs and professional obligations don't always go hand-in-hand.
That's about it. I'm not trying enlist sympathy-or advice-Ijust want to get ahead of this information in case false information gets out (which it will).
Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch and I have great support, so I expect to be around a while.
As always, you're the greatest fans in the world and I hope to see you soon!
Much love,
Bruce Campbell
