I’m speechless, and hopeless, after reading this letter. The head of US soybean farmers voted for Trump after: watching the insurrection; hearing Trump call for killing VP Pence; “you will never vote again if I win”; “tariffs v China are my plan.”Now, wants a special deal for his own $.
Probably true. But as you know, Marc, better than anyone, it’s not a plan of action. You have been out front with effective action. DNC is quickly becoming irrelevant because they have no other plan. Astonishing email from David Hogg today. Anyone see that?OMG.

Not until they earn it. I’m disgusted with DNC complacency, lack of a “this is a big deal” “right this minute” organizing effort, and failure of ANY effective action.
We need media follow-up on this. Is it a successful recruitment? How long is it running? How many people are in the fields? This is a BIG story waiting for @NYTimes to find it. Colorado learned this lesson years ago, when farmers could not bring in their crops.

I often agree with your opinion pieces but not with this post. Not selfless enough for you? We have a good man here, doing something extraordinary, at personal risk, from US citizens as well as in Nicaragua. When so many senators are cowering, I do not see any reason to denigrate it.
Agree. DNC from Ken Martin to David Hoggs have offered nothing I’ve seen, except self congratulations and requests for donations. Dem elected officials on their own go into red districts for town halls. Did DNC come up with that? No. AG’s, Congress reps and The People did. 50501. Indivisible.
