This is totally shocking. There are so many gems Susan Alcorn leaves us with. Most notable for me is her playing with The Mary Halvorson Octet - what a perfect compliment to Halvorson's guitar! The treasures here are endless. She'll be missed.
A concerned group of Granite Curling Club members are campaigning against a petition created by the club’s executive to stop the city’s plans for an affordable housing development in the parking lot adjacent to the facility.
I've used this in sermons on more than one occasion.
As a member of The Granite, I'm pretty disappointed to see how our board is responding to this. As has been the case with The Beer Can, we should be seeing this as an exciting opportunity rather than an existential crisis. This is embarrassing. Also, way to go @binkypinder.bsky.social!
