I am feeling every dancing step, conversation, cigarettes smoked over said conversations, and the comedown on the reunifying emotional roller-coaster. I'm gonna go throw some electrolyte powder in my waterbottle and take an Aleve. Good times.

I think it's an indicator of an excellent night out when you wake up the next morning feeling like you're hungover, despite the fact you've been sober for 2+ years.

Two things:

1. It's the final weekend of Art Shanties, come down while you can.

2. My hair is now dark green, my bathroom lighting is unable to catch it. It looks lovely in the light, even on the darker ends. Ignore the dye stains.

Not a judgment and IDK how you overcome it but...it's striking that every time a fresh national news story drops about ICE in the Twin Cities (ProPublica today), a lot of people respond with "Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad" and everyone in MN goes "Yes and it's a hundred times worse"

It's not bad to verify (as bots and impersonators are out there), but you actually *don't* need to be delivering some of the same cruelty people are facing when "proof" is being demanded.

Safe to say, when 🧊 is whisking people away and taking their phones, they are not returning them upon the person's release. With that in mind, people are likely also losing accounts they've had for years and may make new accounts, if they're not able to gain access and log out of the device.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't let your hypervigilance make you look like a shitass, especially when someone is asking for help after a traumatic event. Even if you don't have the means to help, you can still point in the direction of legal aid and crisis care.
