Driving the news: The AI Accountability and Personal Data Protection Act is rolling out after a hearing where Hawley accused companies including Meta and OpenAI of pirating vast droves of protected works. It would: Bar AI companies from training on copyrighted works. Allow people to sue to sue for use of their personal data or copyrighted works without giving consent. Require companies to disclose which third parties will be given access to data if consent is given. Provide for financial penalties and injunctive relief as remedies. What they're saying: "AI companies are robbing the American people blind while leaving artists, writers, and other creators with zero recourse," Hawley said in a statement. "It's time for Congress to give the American worker their day in court to protect their personal data and creative works." Blumenthal: "Tech companies must be held accountable—and liable legally—when they breach consumer privacy, collecting, monetizing or sharing personal information without express consent."
⭐ [US] Bipartisan bill S.1993 was introduced to protect artists and limit generative AI training.
If you want to ask your senator to cosponsor, here's a link to the text of the bill:

oh! ive had a jpeg of his work floating along on my hard drives for years and ever had a name to attach. thank you!
huh! thats quite the shot then! they are all so perfectly placed! 😆 even the tree branches perfectly bend to help create a focal point! I was like... wait a min it! this feels like a TOF composition drawing come to life! lol
I think they did a rainbow limited addition collectors reproduction of this cup in 2019 for pride month.
question, are his photos ment to be real candids or representative of a moment? I can't help but feel that these photos feel very staged. which is fine, but thats a different form documentation then actually being there in the moment.
the artist of the Wolfgang comic is bud. he did small comics like this in the 70s and early 80s.
a great example is the comic 'Leonard and Larry' by Tim Barela. it was a pretty popular strip that ran in Frontier magazine for years and starred two middle aged gay leather men living in LA but then when the magazine wanted to be hip with the youth they dumped it. thankfully its been archived.
honestly, the internet itself and shifting demographics is why alot of gay artists just vanished along with HIV killing alot of artists as well. the late 90s to 2000 is a bit of a changing of the guard in which gay mags and websites focused on the then youthful millennials and dropped older content
hi! So i actually collected all of bill wards work from drummers full run and created a book for my own reference. he actually had 3 official collections printed by drummer and a 4th one for Zeke. also, there is actually an archive of his work at the bishops gate institute in London as well.

I have a question. Will this drive down the cost of the other injection prep meds that only work for 2 to 3 months? yeah, taking 2 shots a year is awesome but even 2 to 3 months isn't bad either. also, when di they become generics?
The FDA approved twice-yearly lenacapavir (Yeztugo) for PrEP, making it the longest-acting HIV prevention method. Advocates lauded the eagerly awaited approval but expressed concern that the $28,000 annual price tag could limit access as HIV prevention funding is being slashed in the US & worldwide.
okay, because i was about to say... did the army know how blatantly homoerotic these were?
Illustrated by Jon Whitcomb, Cannon's "Towel Tales" magazine ads were a strategic wartime campaign aiming to promote the WWII effort & boost military enlistment. A series of 6 full page ads, many featured the Army branch.

does this area always look like this? I think its great reference for concept art
Sorry for being away for a while. I've really been in a funk and AI wasn't really helping. I kept on looking at my paper going.... what's the point? why am I doing this? Its just the joy of drawing was kind of drained out of my body. After a while I just decided, fuck it! do it anyway! #furry #bara
