Less than 3 weeks until I find out what I got in my final module and I should be offered my degree classification shortly after. I hate the waiting game, but it's getting so much closer now and this is going to be a busy month!
One last essay to write before I can graduate. So why does it feel like such a big hurdle? π
Wow, how beautiful was today? Absolutely perfect weather shared with lovely peopleπ
Yes, he's 4 and off to school in September π±
8 and a half! It's crazy how fast those years have gone.
I'm mega stressed but trying to overcome it by focusing on the finish line! Just one more normal assignment, then the examined one and I'm done.
What course are you doing? π
Noooo, just as well you didn't!
Thanks! I want to try and find work in a related field, possibly something to do with the environment. No solid plans yet, though. I'd like to do a masters in the future, but I think I need a bit of a break and for the children to be older for that π
Absolutely. Every single year I fall for fake spring!
I'm freezing and wrapped up in a dressing gown. If it was summer I'd love to go out, but right now you couldn't pay me enough (okay...that might be a slight over-exaggeration) π
I've just looked at the calendar and realised it's EXACTLY 10 weeks until I finish my degree. FINALLY! π₯³ππ
Sometimes I wish we could share smells, but I'm grateful right now to purely be able to appreciate the view π
And yet yours still sounds like the superior evening π
That's what I thought when I woke up on Saturday. I don't want to admit it, but my body wouldn't have betrayed me like this even a couple of years agoπ
Absolutely!
Yes, I've been studying for a BA(Hons) Social Sciences (Geography) degree with the OU for nearly 6 years. Finally almost done! π₯³
I've been here about a month I think!
Last Friday evening, I sat on the sofa with really bad posture to appease the youngest who had been a pain all day (I had no fight left in me to argue). It didn't really hurt...until I woke up on Saturday barely able to move π
Oh no! I remember when they were preparing to open. Really hope it can be saved, it's so important.
π
Sorry to hear you've had a tough week. The better weather has been lovely, but I've been suffering with a bad back all week. It seems to be getting better, I just need to be careful not to go back to square one!
When I was leaving the hairdressers today with my new colour, a woman told me I looked like "an ethereal being". I'm not sure I've ever received a better compliment in my lifeπ₯°β¨π§ββοΈ
Back spasms are horrible π I've been suffering since I sat dodgily on the sofa fora couple of hours last Friday evening.
There's no such thing as an ethical billionaire graffiti
Just walked past this in Norwich
Thank you, I really needed that.
The Haribo I bought at the new shop at Bluewater yesterday is the only thing carrying me through this essay right now. It's so difficult, I want to cry. At least I finally have an idea of what to write, but I can't articulate it π
I loved Wheatus when I saw them at Wembley a few years ago, but I didn't really enjoy them last night unfortunately π
Bowling for Soup were fantastic last night! I also discovered Magnolia Park and they're going straight on my playlist, they were brilliant π All in all a great way to spend Valentine's Day with my husband π₯°
It's inconceivable to me that a tiny handful of evil men who are just a miniscule blip on this beautiful planet's timeline are being allowed to destroy it to satisfy their greed and lust for power.
πΏβ Crepuscular (adj.)
Such a lovely word to say π
Meaning dim, indistinct from the 1660s
But more charmingly "pertaining to or resembling twilight," from 1755
Latin crepusculum for twilight, dusk βπΏπ
