I had an attending that said we should put statins in the tap water. Mostly jokingly. Mostly.
Seems like starting the CDI recurrence monitoring date as day 1 of vanc may have not been the best approach unless there was a good reason to think C diff would relapse during the taper?
As others have pointed out, given this, it seems like at day 90 the tapered patients started to catch up. 🫤
It's slightly better if it only costs slightly more!
