Hardly alone. It'll be odd having no more USM on the horizon.

Fans have more influence than we realize with our voices and our wallets. I again emphasize the press did over 170 posts supporting our views just last year, 18 years after Marvel assumed it was over.
I want to see how loud our voices can be together.

If even a FRACTION of everyone complaining here and online would take just a minute each month to send Marvel editorial (spideyoffice@marvel.com) a letter saying you still hate One More Day AND want it walked back, and that would earn your business, it would be overwhelming. 4/5
Every time twitter, Reddit, or any online community blows up with rage over OMD, it both reassures me that so many of us feel it was a damaging story to a beloved hero that still is causing problems, but also reminds me that Marvel's hope that fans would move on has failed. 3/5
That's 170 separate instances just last year lambasting Marvel's decision to both do the story in the first place, their stubbornness in sticking with a hated status quo, their refusal to reverse it, and their celebration of the positives a marriage, mature Spider-Man brings. 2/5
It seems comicdom is again talking about Spider-Man and One More Day since a previous editor involved may have invoked it.
I want to put this on blast a bit. My community documented over πππ different news articles criticizing OMD or praising a married Spider-Man in 2025. 1/5
Give us some credit. We rationalize it happening in our own nation too.

I'm tired. But I'm not out.
There's still so much work to be done.
For over 2 years, Iβve been getting Ultimate Spider-Man delivered to my doorstep. The first Spider-Man comic Iβve subscribed to since I dropped ASM in 2007 after One More Day.
Got my final issue yesterday. Going to miss this series and the smile finding it in my mailbox brought me.
Ultimate Spider-Man has ended. I felt issue 24 nailed the landing. Itβs a great ending but at the same time doesnβt feel like THE end. Iβve grown to love this world and its characters, and even with my criticisms I feel itβs one of the best Spider-Man runs in years. Iβll miss it.
Ultimate Spider-Man #24 by Jonathan Hickman, Marco Checchetto, and David Messina
It's had some twists and turns, ups and downs, but I've enjoyed this ride from start to (hopefully) finish. I'll miss you, Ultimate Spider-Man. The finally issue is out this week. Beware of spoilers. And hopefully we can get more books like it very soon.

Boosting this. Marvel Rivals #1 was one of the best-selling comics of 2025, but creators still often need our help to cover medical expenses. Let's send some goodwill (and financial support) towards Paul Allor when you can.
I found it an enjoyable film. βGoodβ is relative, and I can acknowledge its flaws (of which there are several) while still being entertained and ultimately having a good time with it.

Amazing Spider-Man Torn ends today! Be sure to pick it up!
Spider-Man Torn #5 concludes the miniseries today. While I have plenty of thoughts, I'll keep it brief in that I continue to be astounded at how well @straczynski.bsky.social effortlessly understands the maturity of these characters, and Pere PΓ©rez's art should put him on Marvel's hot list.
While these 2025 comic sales rankings are only from one shop in San Francisco and may not reflect national trends, seeing this list absolutely cracked me up.
Absolute DC Dominance! Wow!

Peter with blue eyes always throws me for a loop.
You're a good person, Jody.
Today our government released more files. They have now removed them from their website. Before they did so, I read multiple pages of some of the most vile & evil actions reportedly enacted by Trump and others. It should shock & enrage every Republican, Democrat, or person with a soul.
And if this still about Carlos, he has posted multiple times now that he is not pro-MAGA.
Spider-Man gets little respect, but I always appreciate that Captain America is one of his biggest supporters and advocates.
Thatβs not what happened.
We have never banned anyone for their opinion of John Byrne. One of our moderators loves him. Another doesnβt.
For the record, I liked that theory.
And itβs an active concern for me running this campaign, because Iβve seen in the past how quickly this dovetails into problems and infighting. How to keep the peace for whatβs simply a place to petition for cartoon characters to remarry. Itβs why I encourage it in DMs. You can talk with me anytime.
Hereβs the thing; we do discuss it. In the DMs. Loudly.
Now, Carlos also followed up to say, no, he does not support ICE or Trump. Now, I have my own feelings and disappointments about it, but he has apologized and clarified his ignorance on it. You can believe him or not. Forgive him or not.
Donβt think Iβm not paying attention or indifferent. Things are escalating. Currently, we found it best to take politics to DM conversations. I apply that rule equally to all politically-charged topics. But my own stance on this is clear: Carlos was wrong to like those posts and ICE can go to hell.
There are thousands of better political forums to push our anti-Trump messaging. My Discord exists to get a comic book couple back together. We have pro-marriage supporters there who are conservative, liberal, gay, trans, foreign, etc. We can break bread and find common ground there, on this topic.
