Went into work early to pack up christmas decorations and create new displays for next term. Also tidied like mad so that I can walk into a tidy library in 2025.
Tiring but worth it

It is one of the best books to read! I did a comparison lesson with that and a book with no words with my primary 1 class and they keep asking me to read it again!

Every single school should have a library & a librarian, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers, and give them all the lifelong benefits of literacy. Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER!

We need to keep talking about how weird it is for people to think they should have a say in reading choices for anyone's kids but their own. You're not in charge of what other people's children eat or wear or when they go to bed. Why on earth would you get to choose what they read?

It is an absolutely amazing book - one of my favourite reads!

Each month I have a genre of the month in the library...this month is a mystery genre!
I've wrapped books with a tag that only has the genre on it...the colours of the wrapping paper matches the collections we have so pupils know what books they can take out.
