If you love games, come to Unpub, even if you don't design games yourself. I get so much joy from playtesting events from seeing the essence of a game before it's coated in a glossy finish.
If, like me, you believe games are art, playing prototypes lets you see the fingerprint of the artist.
I have watched both, and you are mostly right. I think Kam can be a little more positive, but not a dissimilar vibe.

The MLB the Show Negro leagues spotlights have done a good job of teaching individual stories while being joyful, but not totally sanitized. It has taught me that Martin Dihigo is my favorite player all time. Additionally the Bananas are bringing back the Indianapolis Clowns.
I really dig the fabric and stitches border.

They are both casino table games and owned by Shufflematic. I have only played so much of them because of my previous job. I would note there are some old console games that had them, I will see if I can figure out which ones.
Gin Rummy, Solitare, Blackjack and Poker of many varieties including Caribbean Stud and Let It Ride.
Oh goodness, I spent many hours (mostly between 11pm and 4am) at coffee shops playing gin with anyone who spend the time. Great game.
I did, the potato has shrunk but is still potatoish, so much so, I am curious what it’s sprayed with.
I feel you, I think with the increase we might finally close the door on PartyGamecast, a 33% increase no longer makes “let’s just keep it around, just for fun” nearly as viable.

If the idea of a channel surfing simulator seems even a little amusing to you, go buy this. I am a couple hours in, and it is delightful. Is it however, not really a game, so that is my lone warning.

Will this be out in switch on 9/23? I saw it appear in the switch eshop for a day, I preordered, but now my preorder has disappeared and so has any sign of the game. Just hoping it’s still a thing.
