This one was covered, to ensure they always had a dry dust bath. It had been raining a bit here recently and much of their ground was muddy.
They sure are! All very different personalities, likes, dislikes, etc.. They are really cool beings!
Some of our friends have not got that instinct then, as they seem to be re-using holes as they dig to the center of the earth. 😂
