In the 25 years since it last played Atlanta, “Parade” has gone from feeling like a powerful history lesson to a ripped from the headlines story about 2025 America. My interview with actor Michael Tacconi:

No, the issue is X no longer supports free speech. If you’re on a platform that throttles content critical of its Nazi-saluting billionaire owner you cannot communicate with the “Georgians who need to see it.” It’s that simple.
As a subscriber and follower, please begin posting more videos and content here. Most of us are now off of X (for the very reasons you experienced last evening). Thanks.

Hello 2025! 👋
Greetings from us on Bluesky where we are excited to continue sharing the love of classic movies with you! Follow along and let's have some fun.
Cheers! 🥂
My latest for Atlanta magazine: This Chris Kayser appreciation easily could have been 20k words filled with loving remembrances from the entirety of the city’s theater community. That’s how loved this man was. www.atlantamagazine.com/arts-events/...
Holiday PSA: You are under no obligation to spend time with people who voted to threaten your wellbeing, your workplace protections and your relationship.
So you’re uncomfortable with homosexuals living publicly the same way you do. Maybe it’s time to ask yourself why that is. And maybe get a therapist.
I’ve got plenty of those folks in my family. I can hear all about why they voted for Trump when I don’t spend the holidays with them.
I wrote about how I have no interest in seeking "echo chambers" but I think X has become unusable, unbearable, and fundamentally compromised as a forum for speech.

Great piece. As a reporter I joined Twitter in 2008 and for many years the platform connected me with other journos, readers and sources. It’s now a wasteland. I’ve had more engagement here in a week than all of last year on X.
Delighted to see you on here. Welcome!
It’s a mess out there, y’all. Glad to be here on this fresh platform, with all of you. Better South. Better America. Better World. Let’s get to work. Let’s go.
If you’re looking for an entertaining 8-hour heist binge to transport you from our current reality, try out the shot-AND-set-in-ATL “Fight Night” on Peacock. Here’s my dispatch from the set:

Welcome back to sanity! Glad you’re over here now.
So many people loved the downtown Rich’s. Atlanta has lost so many holiday traditions. It was great reporting on one that is returning!
My latest for Atlanta magazine. Where I try and explain the city’s 68-year tradition of riding on a Pink Pig at Xmas.
