As writers, our voices are just about all we have. Letting some garbage "A.i." company take that and put mechanically generated words in our mouths? Hell no.
The less horrifying version of this is your Grammarly sloppergΓ€nger giving out shitty advice you never would, like "try using AI to workshop your ideas!"
Don't let anyone make a fucking "A.i." version of you, friends. Never, never, never, never.
Watch this BBC interview if you want to understand how badly Trump screwed up and why Iran still holds a lot of cards.
Not surprising given that weβre nearly two weeks into the war and nobody in the administration can give a clear rationale for the war or say what the exit strategy is.
This picture of them in Oman really sticks in my mind. www.foxnews.com/politics/tru...
So much ink will be spilled but bookmark this from @abuaardvark.bsky.social which probably explains 99% of it. The other 1% was Witkoff and Kushner.
Not only is Trumpβs stupidity going to drive up already high food prices around the world, but yields will also shrink because of the lack of fertilizer. This is what happens when you fire government experts and sideline anyone who raises tough questions. The only voice that matters is the Mad King.
I know the interagency planning process is slow & cumbersome, but itβs really important to have all the stakeholders at the table so they can flag stuff like this:
βOver 1/3 of global fertilizer trade moves through the Strait of Hormuz and disruptions are hitting during the spring planting season.β
Strategery!
It takes a big clown car to drive the entire global economy into the ditch.
Everybody knows the buck stops with the underlings. Trump was just anβApprenticeβ if you will. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Was he awake at the time?
Totally normal monarchy!
βInside the administration, some officials are growing pessimistic about the lack of a clear strategy to finish the war. But they have been careful not to express that directly to the president, who has repeatedly declared that the military operation is a complete success.β
Maybe thatβs why Trump is demanding unconditional surrender β because he thinks itβs easier to demand everything rather than state his war aims in a coherent manner.
Stupid is as stupid does π³
Trump & Hegseth fired the experts and replaced them with dumb loyalists.
βThe Strait of Hormuz is not just an oil chokepoint. The Middle East accounts for about 24% of global sulphur production, and sulphur is the feedstock for sulphuric acid used across nickel, copper & fertilizer supply chains.β
AND for Labour to point out; abandoning 3-Waters is why the NAF coalition is trying to impose rate rise caps on Councils, despite these Councils now needing to pay for this infrastructure through their rates. Govt. can borrow the money for infrastructure more cheaply yetβ¦π€. Economic vandals
Labour needs to spread the message about how wr9ng National was to abandon 3 waters.

One of the most embarrassing moments in the recent history of the world's coolest little capital (aside from every time we call ourselves that) was the turnout for the opening of Transmission Gully, a fucking road. Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui (re)opens this weekend. We can erase this historical stain.
Itβs reckless and should be corrected asap. Appalling headline.
Just vote them out π€πβοΈ
I must admit I'm surprised at how little the Royal Commission gave to vaccine opponents, some of whom saw this process as the thing that would vindicate them. Can't get much clearer than this.
What. A. Hypocrite. Or rather, a morally vacant grifter. Or both.
Whether he believes any of it is somewhat a moot point. People have been pointing out his gross hypocrisy for years but it hasn't't made a huge difference to his ability to stick together quite different cohorts of voters every three years.
Loving them receipts!

(Reuters) - The U.S. Navy has refused near-daily requests from the shipping industry for military escorts through the Strait of Hormuz since the start of the war on Iran, saying the risk of attacks is too high for now, according to sources familiar ..
