I think everyone has that Christmas when they were like 9-10 when they get a “good” yo-yo and the next 3ish months perfecting the 3 tricks you’ve seen before and then never doing it again.

Just got through resident evil village. While I liked it, it didn’t reach the heights of 7 in terms of consistent scares, and it almost seemed like it was scared to not be “Resident Evil™️” and connect it to the lore. Let the RE team just make scary games!

Recently finished re7 and started re8. Kinda disappointed they went away from the slow build and truly spooky vibe of the baker house for open area action vs creatures. Kinda screams “Remember re4, fellow kids?”
