I'm not usually one for FOMO but these Illenium shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas are making me want to be irresponsible
Off work all week for recovery
Stayed up past midnight
Wide awake at 6am and have been refusing to get out of bed for the last 90 minutes

And made it home safe and sound.
Was nice to be able to partially rinse in a proper shower but I still can't get the surgery site wet until Thursday.
I made the mistake of laying on the couch and had to turtle roll myself back upright. It was painful.
But on the mend and back home <3

Getting in and out of bed is a fucking ordeal since moving my hips/bracing puts pressure on the incision site. Walking is also a chore and my pace is abysmal but all should return to normal with time.

Got out of surgery 2 hours ago. Still required to stay in bed for another 2 hours before they try and get you gradually mobile for a couple of minutes
Everything went smoothly as far as I can tell. No serious pain or discomfort but I’m probably still high af on pain meds
