This rude bitch on the train was SMOKING and BEING RUDE ABOUT IT! I should've kicked her off as the doors were closing! She even offered to fight me, I totally could've just picked up my bike and shoved her with it!
Tangara on Como Bridge
What a big day yesterday! After missing an attempt to the south coast, we took our bikes to the waterfall of Waterfall, and good thing we did, because a derailed freight train blocked the line on the way back! We biked on the bumpy trail from Waterfall to Heathcote, then biked Sutherland to Mortdale
I am in Australia and I want better trains in America by the time I'm back

Bike Lanes for UNSW Living Campuses goal Proposal 1: Move the High St bike lane to the southern side of the road so students won't have to cross twice just to use it - those horses there have no use for a bike lane! Proposal 2: New bike lane along Lenthall St to better connect to Green Square
I made this map for class

Just get rid of the Jones Act. It's entirely obsolete because the USA has no domestic shipbuilding industry to speak of
Strategic Air Command logo: a shield with the name in a scroll at the bottom. Inside the shield is an armoured arm with a clenched fist holding three lightning bolts.
The side of a Bendigo tram with the State Electricity Commission logo in gold leaf on a green background. The logo is a shield with a scroll containing the name below. An arm projects from the shield and has a clenched fist holding five bolts of electricity.
Stunning realisation when watching the latest @wtyppod.bsky.social podcast.
The logo of the US Strategic Air Command was stolen from the State Electricity Commission of Victoria.
The 1921 SEC logo was carried by the SEC's provincial trams in Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo.
Never muck with trams!

The other tram approaches down the canyon towards the tunnel I'm in
I've ridden a lot of light rail, and the L1 is the coolest with its canyons and tunnels, but it has 2 problems. One is that it stops at all stops even if nobody gets on or off. The other is the single-track terminus, where any time saved by skipping stops is lost by waiting for the track to open up.
