Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.

Stay vigilant. I got the booster in late Sept. and was just diagnosed with Covid again. Mask up in public and keep your sanitizer handy.

Just a little pick me up

I completely dumped the Metaverse last week; FB, Threads, Insta...all gone. Now I just need to find a way to sell some used furniture. I guess Craigslist is still around.

Out of roughly 153 million votes cast in this election, the presidency was decided by 230k across the three states of Wisconsin (30k), Michigan (80k) and Pennsylvania (120k). That's 00.15%.

This remains an extremely closely divided nation. Any agenda viewed as extreme is likely to face backlash.

I would like to thank Biden and the Infrastructure Act for the improvements to the I20 interstate in the SE USA. While construction sucks (I see you GA using those funds) the end result is wonderful (looking at you AL). So glad your congresspeople voted to pass that bill. Oh wait...they didn't.
