Minnesota, my home, is carrying a heavy burden right now.

Being kind is not being weak. The strength to care for others, to love and protect our neighbors, to be a shield and not a sword, to be warmth in the cold is true Minnesota nice.

May his retirement be very, very long and may he never sleep more than an hour of it. May he wake up sweating to find his only company is the silence of vengeful ghosts.

Also may a Minnesota tick give him a red meat allergy, because he seems like the type who would absolutely melt down.

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas González in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

I’m completely fed up with elected Representatives saying shit like, “Republicans will tell you behind closed doors that they don’t agree with what ICE is doing”.

Playtime is over. Professional courtesy no longer exists.

Name them, record them, and make it public.

It is when all checks on absolute power have been removed that the guillotine will come out, and they will have brought it on themselves.

The only choices will be revolution or capitulation, and the very people who defended the erosion of these protections in the name of national interest will be the ones who most loudly complain that people have no choice but to defend themselves and their neighbors extra-legally.

When all avenues of legal and constitutional reform have been carefully and quietly neutered, when justice has been lobotomized, there will be no more relief valve, no more chance of reform and reconciliation.

Now it is our turn, like so many of the parents of children in nations we have bombed, invaded, starved, withdrawn aid, ignored... now it is our turn to cry out.

"Please, someone, anyone... Please spare the children."

We are now reaping what US imperialism has sowed. Closer and closer to home it has stalked us. The forces of fascism have eroded all checks on power, all accountability, all legal forms of objection.

If you can substitute "hungry ghost trapped in a jar" for "AI" in a sentence it's probably a valid use case for LLMs. Take "I have a bunch of hungry ghosts in jars, they mainly write SQL queries for me". Sure. Reasonable use case.
