Current status: in remission and feeling great. 😁

My wife and I have been putting new floors in our house, doing the work ourselves. I’d really like to get them done before the Apocalypse.

Today, I booked a new gig with one of my favorite clients, then found out a short film I acted in last year will debut in a film festival in March (more on that later). It’s been a good day. 😁🎙️🎬

Today, I woke up, got dressed right away, and went to Starbucks for breakfast because I finally could.

It’s the little things that matter.

Yesterday, I took the last pills for my cancer treatment. I’m in remission and hope to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

For close to two years, my morning routine has been wake up, swallow four pills, then wait an hour before I could eat breakfast. 1/2

At my daughter’s house for Christmas dinner. My granddaughter’s pup has not left my side since I got here. She misses me. 🥹❤️🐶

Train Dreams: The worst kind of Netflix filmmaking. A movie that stops every five minutes so the narrator can tell you what the characters are thinking, feeling, and doing. The perfect movie for people with short attention spans who can’t watch a movie without checking their phones.

Thoughts on 2 movies appearing on 2025 “Best Of” lists:

One Battle After Another: Energetic & well-crafted, but like most Paul Thomas Anderson movies (with the the exception of “There Will Be Blood”), unmemorable.
