We discussed how to broaden and diversify the talent pipeline in economics. My reflections focused on early intervention, redefining “success” in the profession, and building belonging.

The speakers — Joey Connolly, Simon Ross, Michelle Collier & Neil Sprunt — sparked a lively, insightful discussion.
In a new article with Alper Kara we explore who in the UK changed their views on Brexit post-2016. Women & middle-aged grew more critical, older adults more supportive. Educated groups stayed consistent. We also looked at bubbles and austerity exposure.
