This is great work, I remember reading this years ago. Do you know if any funding bodies have taken these initiatives seriously (partial lotteries etc)?

I think this is worth a read, but it also highlights how hard it is to get the grant just right.
Why can't it just be a series of dot points? So much time and money is wasted/spent in getting the prose and phrasing right.
The grant application process is so time consuming!
