Good morning all. A gorgeous day in the Peak District and one that is snowy, bright and clear, the lido showing a vivid blue against a black and white backdrop.

A snowy lane disappears out of sight, an old stone wall to the left, and arching overhead are tall beech trees still carrying their bright autumn leaves of gold and orange.

What a privilege to witness the turn of the seasons before your very eyes, the brightness of autumn blazing against the white of winter. The snow fell in tiny wisps in the cold air and the leaves spiralled down beside them. As always, the click of the shutter was followed by a whispered 'thank you'.
